If you have lost an item, please call or stop by our department on the first floor of the Student Business Services building. You will need to provide a thorough description of the item(s) and the approximate location and date it was lost. We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A picture ID will be needed to claim any property.

The Cal Poly Humboldt Police Department maintains campus lost and found for specific items. Due to limited space and personnel we accept only the items listed below:

• Serialized items
• Bikes
• Wallets
• Cash
• Items valued at over $100
• Keys
• Computer disks and other electronic storage mediums

We DO NOT ACCEPT clothing, food, or any other items under $100 that do not fall within the above list.

Claiming Lost and Found Property

All found property is held for three (3) months. Unclaimed items will be sold via an ongoing on-line auction at www.propertyroom.com. All revenues generated from the sale of found property go to the Humboldt Short Term Student Loan Fund.
